CO Camp's 2nd Day

Hi all :)

For the 2nd day of the camp, we're going to Pasir Ris Park for activities and bbq in the evening.

Members are to meet Kelsey, Quansheng and Runying @ Hougang Interchange at 10am sharp.

If you're going to be late, please inform Runying @ 90027294 so that we can know how long to wait for you.

Bring extra clothings as we will be playing wet games.

Inform your parents that you're going for the bbq and you'll be going home late.

And also bring extra money for lunch on that day for lunch because it'll not be provided.

HOPE WE'LL ENJOY THE 3 DAY CAMP :D

Guys & Gals, the Ngee Ann City performance is just 3 days away! remember to jiayou and work hard for our percussion ensemble alright??!!
Here are things to look out for:

Bring/Wear red co tee on wednesday! Black shoes for both girls and boys. Black bottoms, Jeans/Pants/Skinnies.
Report at 10 am to the studio!
Drink lots of water!
Sleep early and don't be late!

March holidays practice!
15 March - 10.30am to 1.30pm @ studio! [Percussion ensemble people, report @ 8am for extra practice]
16 March - 2 pm - 5pm @ studio!
Guys, please remember to turn up and not be late! These practices are compulsory as the Prize Presentation Day is drawing near and rehersals are around the corner! Make use of this time to spam self practice!

SERANGOON SECONDARY SCHOOL CHINESE ORCHESTRA OVERNIGHT CAMP HAS ENDED! I believe everybody must had have a great time! :D

Day 1:

We started the day off by having sectional practice before grilling them with games. Had lunch and unfortumantely there was not enough food. :( Thanks to zhixiong who went out to buy food or else some of the committees' would have gone "lunch-less". Then we, like always, started the ice-breaking games first by playing "da feng chui" & "bang??". Then went down to the void deck near D&T block to play the "lock & key" game newly intorduced by Norris. :D Some of the committee went off to prepare the BBQ and the rest stayed with the members to whack people up with "wacko" if only the guys were a bit less violent.... =.=" Then came the BBQ and everybody was muching on chicken, sausages, hotdogs, prawns blahblahblah dipped with honey. YUM. Thankfully the alumni came and helped with the food because we still had lots of chicken. Don't remember much people touching the fried rice. Next came the movie. We intended to show some horror movie before the night walk but kuibin ended up showing chinese comedy instead. -.- Came the night walk. Super scary but we had to totally avoid the D&T block because Mdm Ng said it was "dirty". Then after that was bath and rest.

Day 2:

Started the day off by playing the "mummy" game. Split the members up into groups and gave them 3 rolls of toilet paper for them to wrap their mummy. from the photos above you see 3 wrapped mebers. Very hilarious. the first group, Mingxiang was the mummy. Very "obscene-ly" wrapped.. 2nd group, Brenda was the mummy. Everything was falling apart though. The 3rd group, jiahao was the mummy. And look how cute he is. He had some trouble walking though.

We went off for our next game which was musical chairs. Its kinda funny seeing the memebrs trying to snatch the chairs by "plonking" their butts down on the chairs or else squeezing other butts out of the chair. Had water games next. talk in grandma mouths without teeth and if you laugh, your opponent will splash water at you. imagine monkey but became "bunkay" went it came out of your mouth. HAHA. Had lunch and the committee satrted "Panel Talk" with the memebrs. Then had combine session of feng nian ji next. It all came out good since this was the 3rd time we're combining the song. Glad to know that everybody is improving. Dinner and combine next. After bath, Kuibin, our ex-chairman, being funny led he loyal followers around the school and dared his followers to do the scary stuff for him. Like for example, he ordered his followers to got to the D&T block he leads them and once they're near, he said "Ok, now i want you guys to walk in front of me. This is level 2 of testing your courage." Then he satretd walking at the back. Hilarious. then they sat at the parade square playing cards while some people fell asleep.

Day 3:

Packed up and left.

To All Students taking their O's!

It's the O Level English paper tomorrow, and I shall represent CO to wish all students taking their O levels the Best Of luck !! It's your last lap of the whole marathon, finally the showtime.

A Final check whether you have enough stationaries, your calculators, etc etc. Not to forget! To have Lots of Rest! It wont do good if we don't get enough sleep and are feeling tired during the exam itself! We want to be in good health condition so that we can do our very best for the exams! After all that mugging, our mind need some rest as well! Too much studying can sometimes cause mental blockages, so it's advisable to put down your study materials at least about 1 hour before you hit the exam questions in the hall!

Well, that's about all! All the Best, and your hardwork will definitely pay off!

Night Safari Halloween event was a blast! I'm sure all of the committee and co. that went had enjoyed the visit. :D The trip was really enjoyable, except the terrible walk (to see the animals) we decided to take on. D: Since it was night-time, and there were no street lamps around, we were practically blinded by the darkness while trying to walk along the pavements to try our luck at looking at the animals.

Well, we did get to see a few of them, but only vaguely since it's SO DARK. Besides the trail we took on, we also took the tram ride called the "Train of Terror". We were first being introduced to the animals that lived there, then the horrors, which they called that area,"neverland". (not sure whether that is the correct spelling.. )

I must say that what was installed for us during the ride at "neverland" was really thrilling and exciting. There were screams as well as laughter, and the monsters do look like monsters! some would even climb up the tram to scare you! However, one of the monsters/ghosts picked the wrong person in our group to scare and in return, got a slap in the face/eye!! Who is it ?! It's no other than our Pretty but sometimes tomboyish girl, Jia Jing! The monster who got a slap by her was quite shocked..

It was a pity we didnt get to take photos with all the ghost we saw there!! Before our first picture we took with a monster, we tried to approach one that was walking around scaring people. But when we saw him coming towards our direction, we were pretty scared anyway and tried to hide away before we seek anymore attention! But anyway, in all, it's really very enjoyable!
